• 80 sq ft (10×8) — typical contents of a 2-bedroom house
• 160 sq ft (20×8) — contents of a 3–4 bedroom house or business stock

Most customers complete the full booking in under 10 minutes. You’ll choose your unit, add storage protection, pay securely online, fill in a few extra details, and complete a quick identity check — all in one flow. Have your payment card and a valid photo ID to hand and you won’t need to stop.

In most cases, as soon as today. Once your booking and identity check are complete, your unit is ready. You can access it during our opening hours — check your chosen location’s page for times. If you need same-day access, give us a call to confirm availability.

To get through the booking without stopping, have the following ready:

• Your email address and mobile number
• A payment card (credit or debit)
• Your preferred move-in date
• A valid UK driving licence or passport for the identity check
• The name and contact number of an emergency contact

Yes — we offer discounts for paying upfront. Choose to pay 6 or 12 months in advance and you’ll save on your weekly rate compared to paying month to month. Some units also carry introductory offers for new customers. Any available discounts will be shown clearly when you reach the payment plan step.

Yes — for the safety of all customers and their belongings, the following are not permitted in any Loc-Box unit:

• Cars, vans, and other motorised vehicles
• Motorbikes and mopeds
• Jet skis and water vehicles
• Lawn mowers and petrol-powered garden equipment
• BBQs containing gas or ash
• Flammable liquids, gas canisters, or hazardous chemicals
• Perishable food or living plants
• Illegal items or stolen goods
